Motorcoach & Church

Elevate Your Group.

Your Chimney Rock experience begins as you cross over the Rocky Board River and take the scenic mile drive up the mountain to the Ticket Plaza. After you check in, you’ll be directed to our motorcoach parking area where you’ll meet your shuttle for your trip to the top of the mountain. After a brief introduction by a Park associate, your group will take a 26-story elevator ride inside the mountain in about 32 seconds to some of the best views in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Too much sitting? They can stretch their legs and take a hike to our 404’ waterfall or explore the Outcroppings Trail for more incredible views from multiple vantage points. Groups love to shop for mementos of their visit. They’ll find a great selection at both the Sky Lounge and Cliff Dwellers Gifts. Want the group to get even more engaged, consider adding our Bird of Prey or other programs for an opportunity to get up-close with some of our resident animal ambassadors. Hungry? Let us do the cooking! Add a buffet-style, catered meal or order some grab-and-go box lunches to take with them on their hike.
