The Story of Chimney Rock Management
Chimney Rock Management was formed in 2007, but our roots go back over 100 years as former employees of the Morse family who owned and operated the Park for ten decades. When the family sold the land to the state of North Carolina in the early 2000s, many dedicated employees stayed on to help usher in a new era of conservation, education, and excellent guest experiences in partnership with NC State Parks. Many members of our team have dedicated their lives to the stewardship of this land and to keeping it open and accessible to visitors from all over the world.
Together, our management team has over 150 years of combined experience. CRM employees have a diverse set of backgrounds, experiences, and skills that support our goal: to continue to provide elevated experiences to each guest of the Park, as we have for decades. Chimney Rock Management is an organization with a vision to develop connections between our staff, our community, our guests, and the natural world for many years to come.
