We all know trees are important, but do we totally understand the roles they play in everyday life? A Park Ranger will lead your family through an introduction to the life cycle, basic identification, and impressive facts about trees.

Join a park ranger to begin your adventure into the basics of black bears.  What do bears eat? Where do they live? Do they hibernate during NC winters?  And will they attack?  Let’s answer these and other common questions about one of the largest mammals in our woods.

Come join Park Rangers for a family-friendly crafting event where we explore historical games and toys that have been played with in America since colonial times and earlier. A table will be set up outside of the Cliff Dwellers Gift Shop from 2pm-3pm
