Join educators Christine Wittmeier, Environmental Programs Supervisor with Henderson County and Kat Scala, Education Specialist at Chimney Rock Park for a Don’t Waste it workshop.  

The Don’t Waste It curriculum was designed to help current and future educators across the southeast understand the systems for municipal solid waste, landfills, material recovery facilities, recycling and composting within their state.  Educators will be supplied with resources and lessons to share with students in hopes to inspire their local communities to revitalize land and reduce contamination.  

As of now, the program will be held in person but is subject to change to a hybrid workshop.  This will be dependent on COVID numbers and protocol.
