National Trails Day Volunteer Day at Chimney Rock State Park

What better way to celebrate National Trails Day than by hitting a trail and helping to maintain one of Chimney Rock’s hidden gems? Come join Park Rangers at the Rumbling Bald Climbing Access for a trail workday to help to take care of the outdoor spaces that we love and keep them safe and accessible for all visitors. Activities during this workday will include trimming vegetation and water mitigation. We plan to hike about 0.5 – 1.5 miles around the trail to get to the worksite and will have to carry our own supplies out and back. No experience is required and all materials will be provided. Please wear close-toed shoes and proper attire. Please bring plenty of water and snacks.
