2014 Ticket Plaza Hours
*Closure Update Feb. 25: The park/attraction is currently closed for repairs to the main entrance road. Its completion has been delayed due to extreme weather conditions. We anticipate reopening within the next couple of weeks. This closure means there's no access to the Chimney Rock spire, the Outcroppings trail and all other visitor facilities in the vicinity. Thanks for your patience and understanding.
The Park remains open 1½ hours after the Ticket Plaza closes.
EST = Eastern Standard Time
EDT = Eastern Daylight Time (Daylight Saving Time)
Come after 3, Come Back for Free
Planning to visit later in the day? When you purchase your admission after 3pm, hold onto your receipt and it's good for admission the next operating day at no additional cost!
The Park and Old Rock Café are closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day 2014.
NOTICE: The Hickory Nut Falls trail is currently closed for repairs due to a rockslide that caused significant damage to a footbridge and a large portion of the trail in November 2012. The plan is to reopen the waterfall trail, but there is currently no timeline established. Reduced admission rates are in effect. Read more about the trail closure.
*Reduced Rates in effect are due to the closures of both the Hickory Nut Falls trail and the elevator.
