Rumbling Bald Resort on Lake Lure Dining Rumbling Bald Resort on Lake Lure offers a variety of dining options for Park visitors. Resort restaurants are open daily in season and are located about 20 minutes from the Park entrance. Lakeview Restaurant & Hearthside Lounge offers upscale casual dining overlooking Lake Lure. Lakeview has a freshly prepared menu with seasonal appetizers and entrèe specials. Lakeview features the all-you-can-eat Prime Rib buffet for $19.95 every Wednesday and live entertainment on Thursday and Friday. Outdoor patio seating is available, non- smoking only. Lake Lure Dinner Cruise: A dining experience unlike any other in the Blue Ridge Mountains, the Lake Lure Dinner Cruise at Rumbling Bald Resort is a guest favorite experience year after year. Your dinner is served during a leisurely two hour evening cruise on Lake Lure in a luxury pontoon boat. Your meal includes a salad and one of three delicious entrées followed by a wonderful dessert. Our chefs craft daily menus to reflect seasonal offerings and market availability. The restaurant carries the coveted AAA Four-Diamond Award, as does the Inn. We have also received Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence for eight consecutive years and offer weekly wine tastings on Thursdays and monthly Winemaker’s Dinners.
