Great food and fun at Chimney Rock Park!

An Affair to Remember

2005-12-29

I knew from the first conversation that I had with Chimney Rock Park that this was an option our group was going to need to seriously consider.

The first impression of professionalism, courtesy, information, and willingness to help was very high. When I received a call back for follow up, that confirmed my feelings of the first encounter.

The website is excellent and full of information. Everything seems to run like clockwork. The park was clean and beautiful. The trails were kept extremely nice and very safe. There was great staffing throughout the Park.

You could tell that there was great pride taken on being a part of the organization by all the staff. The bathrooms were very pleasant and clean (usually lacking in most outdoor type parks). Our meet and greet was informative and just made the choir feel really great about being there.

The staff absolutely bent over backwards for us, before we came and once we got there. The outsourcing, our entertainment was first class, and we enjoyed having John Mason play for us. How accommodating it was having him at lunch and on top under the tent for us. He was very much an asset for us all and a need for those who could not walk any trails.

The lunch catering was tremendous. It was not run-of- the-mill food, but high quality, served up with a smile. It was divine.

The help through the planning stages and care to detail was tremendous. I really think the sealer of the deal, that we had made a great choice was really two things. You have a beautiful park, wonderful people and it looks like a great surrounding area to visit.

Thank you for such a wonderful experience. It was one of our best diversions on a trip they will truly remember!

We will be sharing positive" gossip" for the park for years to come.
