Passholder Early Access Weekend

Join us June 21 and 22 for a Passholder-exclusive early access weekend!

As a thank you for your ongoing support, we’re opening the Park just for Passholders this weekend, Saturday, June 21 and Sunday, June 22, before we reopen to the public.

To reserve a spot, select your entry time, number of passholders in your party, and number of vehicles you are bringing in the form below. Arrive within the hour of your entry time and be ready to show your ID and Annual Pass to the Ticket Plaza. You’ll be issued your new extended Pass, and then hit the trails!

Planning Your Visit

This special Passholder weekend is exclusively for guests who held a valid Annual Pass as of September 27, 2024, and who reserve their spot through this page. Have your Annual Pass with you to show the Ticket Plaza upon arrival.
Please do not share this link with non-Passholders. We appreciate your understanding as we reopen in a limited capacity and cannot accept drive-ups at this time.

How To Get Here
NC 9 through Lake Lure is the only open road to the Park. Other routes, including Hwy 74A from Asheville, Hwy 64A from Hendersonville, and NC 9 from Black Mountain, are closed to non-local traffic. Please allow extra travel time for this detour. Consider using Google or Apple Maps to get an accurate route to the Park. Cell signal and wi-fi are unreliable in the Gorge at this time, so we recommend downloading directions and your reservation info before you leave.

Hours
Reservations are available from 8:30am to 4:30pm. The Ticket Plaza closes at 5:30pm. Park gates close at 7:00pm.

Elevator and Trails
To answer the question we are all asking, the elevator will be up and running this weekend! The majority of trails will also be open, including the Outcroppings Trail to the Chimney, Hickory Nut Falls Trail, Four Seasons Trail, and the Great Woodland Adventure Trail. Exclamation Point and the Skyline Trail will be closed as repairs continue past Devil’s Head.
